Breast cancer can spread to the outside of the breast in the blood vessels. The process in which breast cancer spreads to other parts of the body is known as metastasis.
Some symptoms of breast cancer are new lumps in or around the breast, thickening of a part of the breast, burning or scarring of the skin of the breast, reddening or flaky skin of our breast or neck, breast Symptoms include pain around the nipple, blood coming from the breast other than milk, change in breast size, more pain in any part of the breast, etc. However, all these symptoms can also be caused by diseases other than cancer.
How to diagnose breast cancer by yourself?
Some steps that can help detect breast cancer:
Step 1:
When you stand in front of your mirror, look at your breasts and notice that your shoulders are straight and your hands are on your hips. After this check whether your breast size and color are normal or not. Also pay attention to whether your breast size is the same. You should consult a doctor if your skin is dry-dry or there is a change in the size of the nipple of your breast and there is a swelling or red rash on the skin of the breast.
Step 2:
In this position, raise your hands above your head and see if you see any of the changes we saw in Step 1.
Step 3:
If you see any fluid, such as blood or fluid, from any nipple in your breast while standing in front of your mirror, consult your doctor.
Step 4:
In this position, you lie down on the couch and with the help of 4 fingers of your hand, to test your right breast, check if there is any lump above or below the breast or around it. Similarly do the same for the left breast from the right side.
Step 5:
At this time, check the position of your breasts by standing or sitting. You can feel the lump in your breast using the same hand movements as in step 4.
These steps must be done once in a month. It should also be done a few days after the end of the periods.
